So, today, what's the plan? Have you prioritised your tasks or are you going to wade through in the blind hope that things will just work out and if they didn't, well, at least you worked hard? The challenge is to create a regular and consistent pattern so that you learn to work smarter, not harder.
Take a few minutes to stop and distance yourself from all that has to be done. Slow down. Step back. Breath.
Write down a few clear goals for today or this week (this is when a journal would come in useful). Reflect for a few minutes and think about the best course of action. You may want to check your plan with others that are going to be impacted by it to see if they have anything to add.
